No matter what your political affiliation, this is a historic week as we see the inaguration of our 44th President of the United States. Due to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, there will be no school on Monday. Teachers will attending inservice workshops, but students get the day off!

Welcome back to school!! I hope everyone is returning well rested and ready to get back to learning.
This week will be a little different for your child. I am still in Mississippi with my husband who is outprocessing from the 412th Engineer Command Group in Vicksburg. We are looking forward to getting home very soon to our own children. I am very thankful for my mom and grandma who have stayed at our home and taken great care of everything in my absence. I am also thankful for Miss Cindy Hoover who is substituting for me in the classroom this week. She does a fantastic job with teaching and managing everything.
Thank you for your understanding. I will see all students on Monday, 12 January. I look forward to getting back.
